Jescar, a 15-year-old class 7 student at Kibweni Primary School in Kilimanjaro Moshi, was facing a difficult situation when we initiated contact during a school workshop. Her teacher informed us that Jescar's mother was sending her to local brew houses during late hours, putting her safety and well-being at risk in such environments.
We confronted her mother, and as child rights activists, we explained the dangers of this behavior, emphasizing that it was not a healthy way to raise a child, especially a girl. After much effort, her mother began to listen, and we made it clear that sending an underage child to such places was against the law and could lead to severe risks, including rape and exposure to HIV/AIDS. .
We also spoke to the owner of the local brew house, warning him about entertaining parents who sent their children to such places. He understood the seriousness of the issue and promised to address it immediately. Soon after, he posted notices prohibiting children from coming near the place.
Word spread through the village, and this harmful tradition began to change. When we returned for an evaluation, Jescar and other children were happy and confessed that the harmful tradition had stopped. .
Jescar expressed how the campaign for child rights had changed her life and the lives of other children, and the community's response was positive, with requests for further visits. This case shows the impact of advocacy and awareness in safeguarding the rights and well-being of children. .
‘’The campaign for child right has changed my life and others children’’. Finally a lady laughing and asked if we shall come to school for a third time. thank you Jukwaa la Sheria. .

According to him one day as he was on his job as a conductor, he happened to be listening to our program in the debate regarding the safety of motorbike riders and loved it.
On progress, he heard George, the presenter and the other police officer announce on a Motor Bike Safety campaign which shall be conducted for free, and all riders were been invited to participate by writing their name to police central. Lucky enough, it was less than two weeks he was able to purchase his own Boda boda from the funds that his parents had live for him and his young brother. He began doing this as his job and changing the life of his young brother who is still at school. Most of his customers are the same passengers that used to board the bus that he was once a conductor on.
He came and gave us a call on the radio and wanted to be a testimony of our success and we welcome him to the studio and it’s where we got this story straight up from himself. He is now self-employed, safely riding his boda boda under all regulations

A 19 years old and one of the beneficiary of the elimination of childhood pregnancy project. She left school in 2013 due to lack of schools fees. Having stayed at home without any work to do. She ended up been impregnated by the one man who later escaped
Before the project she involved herself with the house girl post in someone’s house but due to mistreatments from her boss she decided to return at her uncle’s house to perform the day to day chores. Through the radio program, she learned about us and managed to be one of the girls who had a chance.
During the project she worked hard and displayed a huge performance. Her greatest strength is the speed that she poses in sewing.
She is the one who’s employed by the school in tailoring of the children cloth including uniforms. Now she has been given a permanent resident near the school having shifted home with her baby
We managed to have a simple interview with her and is what she had to say
‘’Children with educated mothers are more likely to survive than those whose mothers did not receive an education’’ how ever she recognize skills provided during the project. She stated ‘’help me I will help others’
A woman with a kid, suffered couple mistreatments from her drunkard husband which result on her escape at home to return at her home in one of the regions.
We met with her during the radio session at the discussion in the law of Marriage Act in relation to the gender violence and inheritance law. She came and explained to us on how she could solve her problems
We wrote a letter to her husband and informed him that legal action could be taken either by the wife or by Jukwaa La Sheria including reporting him to the Police Gender Desk. He positively responded as he quickly made a call and informed that he has received our letter and from that day he will respect her wife and child.
He begged us to seize all legal actions which we had planned to initiate. Five days letter, the woman made a call to us confirming to have notice changes from her husband and things were now smooth
A quote from the lady “Jukwaa La Sheria has a biggest voice to a lot of families and society in general.”
Devotha Kisoka is a 10-year-old student currently in standard five at Moshi primary schools. She is a beneficiary of the Go Road Safety project, which aims to educate children about road safety. Devotha actively participated in the project's activities, including school workshops and radio programs.
Before joining the project, Devotha had limited knowledge of road safety. She only knew to check both sides before crossing the road. However, through the project, she gained valuable knowledge about traffic signs and how to communicate with drivers and riders using different symbols taught by the Police Department of Road Safety
During a radio session where Devotha shared her testimony, she expressed her gratitude towards everyone involved in the project. She acknowledged the impact of the project on her knowledge and awareness of road safety, stating, "I thank all people and police for enabling this project."
Devotha's story highlights the positive impact of the Go Road Safety project in equipping children with essential road safety knowledge and skills. Through her participation, she not only gained valuable knowledge but also demonstrated appreciation for the efforts made to educate and protect children on the roads
The organization has created a safe space for students to communicate and address challenges without obstacles. We have initiated media club programs that focus on promoting academic standards, building confidence, and acquiring facts related to children's safety. These programs aim to unlock progress on children's issues and create a sustainable development agenda. A campaign has been proposed to champion for children's rights by establishing media clubs in primary schools. These media clubs provide a safe space for children to express their fears and challenges, and to find solutions to the problems they face, The campaign focuses on issues that promote children's healthy development and unlocks progress on children's issues. The media clubs have enabled students to develop interests and passions, fostering unity, teamwork, and transparency.
Both teachers and students alike embraced the program enthusiastically, recognizing its value in enhancing education and fostering creativity among the youth. Word of our project's success quickly spread, leading to other schools expressing a keen interest in having the program implemented in their institutions.
During school holidays in April, June, and December, recordable academic content provided continuity in learning, ensuring that students remained engaged and stimulated even outside the classroom. The individual students who listened to the program and participated in workshops experienced a remarkable transformation, gaining confidence, skills, and a renewed sense of empowerment.
Overall, our Media Club Project not only enriched the educational experience of students but also brought communities together, paving the way for a brighter future where every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
