Motorbike Safety Project in Kilimanjaro

GS Community and Foundation for Vulnerable Children Youth Marginalized Empowerment Women collaborated to implement a new project in Kilimanjaro to address motorbike safety in the community. The project directly benefited about 3600 participants, including 2000 school children who received brochures about road safety education. The project also impacted about 100 riders who participated in a seminar conducted by police officers, where participants with qualifying criteria were able to obtain driving licenses and certificates. The project also registered new working joints for day-to-day operations and provided reflector jackets to riders for better visibility during dark hours. Additionally, the radio program emphasized the importance of selecting legally registered boda boda riders for safe transportation. The success of the project has left the consortium organization of GS Community and its partners very glad. to know more the project contact us
